\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIt was through prenatal screening that we knew something was wrong with our baby.\u00a0 Olexandre was born with a mass in his abdomen comparable to the size of a pop can.\n\nTests confirmed it was hepatoblastoma: Liver Cancer.\n\nOur baby started chemotherapy at just one month old.\u00a0 Six rounds of chemo was followed by a full day of surgery to remove the mass just before Ollie turned four months old.\n\nThanks to CHEO, and the people who donate, our boy is now five years old!\n\nWe need to keep funding pediatric cancer research because there are too many little ones that did not, and will not, survive.\n\nThey\u2019ve just been so special to us. They\u2019ve done so much more than just the cancer treatment \u2014 they\u2019ve taken care of our family as whole; made sure we were able to stay together and cope with it mentally and they were just great. We\u2019ll do anything for them.\n\nEvents like Snow Angels for CHEO are important because they help raise funds for the children\u2019s hospital, spread awareness and remind the community of what we have in our backyard that we sometimes take for granted.\n\nDon\u2019t take this place for granted because when you do need it, you just, you can\u2019t give back enough. You will never be able to give back enough once you\u2019ve seen what they\u2019ve done to save your child\u2019s life.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
