This consists of Induction, Consolidation and, more recently, Maintenance. If everything goes as hoped, the full treatment protocol will be 2-3 years long.<br \/><br \/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-11321 alignright lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/snowangelsforcheo.ca\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/01\/Easton-sleeping-at-cheo-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 150px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 150\/150;\" \/>The road is long and quite treacherous, but thankfully, in the very capable hands of our Drs and Nurses at CHEO, his prognosis is good, but significantly more funds and research are needed for childhood cancer!<\/p><p>Only 7% of all research cancer dollars in Canada are dedicated to childhood cancers &#8211; our kids deserve more.
